A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of documenting an intimate elopement at the Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA. Though I had been up to the area in the summer for a previous wedding, I had not seen it in the winter with a blanket of snow. Wow! Definitely one of the most amazing backdrops I’ve seen for a wedding.

 

 

Luke and Britta were such an awesome couple. They had met at work eight years earlier and Luke knew right away that she was the one. Rather than dealing with the stress of having a large summer wedding, the two of them decided to elope atop the mountains with only their direct family. The ceremony was personal (officiated by Luke’s father) and completely perfect.

 

 

After the ceremony the photographer and I had some time alone with the couple where we captured some cinematic moments in the snow. The couple made it so easy and I could clearly see the love between the two of them. Not to mention the winter wonderland that they were walking through!

 

After a small reception and some toasts, the day came to an end. I will definitely never forget the beautiful video captured in this majestic area!
