If you’re an adventurous couple, why not have a wedding that represents YOU? With the average wedding cost falling around $30,000 more and more couples are choosing to throw tradition aside and elope. These adventures have become some of our favorite events to capture. Not only do we get to spend more personal time with the couple, but we also get to explore new places.

 

The key to planning the perfect adventure elopement is deciding on where to do it. Find somewhere that has meaning to you, somewhere that has gorgeous scenery, or somewhere you’ve always wanted to visit!

 

We filmed an elopement at the Olympic National Park earlier this year and the couple decided on this location simply because it was on each of their bucket lists. Not to mention, it has some stunning backdrops!

 

Something to keep in mind if you are planning your elopement is the importance of a videographer (yes, we’re biased, but still). Elopements and intimate weddings mean that friends and family won’t be present – so what better way to share those moments with them than showing a cinematic highlight video? Not only will your family and friends be able to see the day, but you will be able to re-live the moments for years to come.
